Wow, great book! There is so much lore and fiction surrounding our presidential history. Reading a great book by a great author on one of our presidents can be very educational. However, we have a lot of presidents to cover. A great way to get a jump on this history is this wonderful book. It is very well written and concise. The author reviews each president’s record from Woodrow Wilson to Obama. You learn a lot of real history in a quick enjoyable read. The author’s metric for grading the presidents is how well they supported and promoted the U.S. Constitution. Steven F. Hayward proves to be a very informative and trustworthy historian. He also writes in a very clear and easy to read fashion. This book is also loaded with book titles to continue much more in depth reading on this topic. This book is a real jewel!
