Undemocratic by Jay Sekulow
Undemocratic by Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel for the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice), is a critically important book for our times. This book gives an important glimpse into the “fourth branch of government” which unlike our Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches is not spelled out in our Constitution. This “fourth branch of government” is the massive bureaucracy that is unelected and unaccountable and yet is seizing massive amounts of power. We have seen how this power has been greatly abused to silence opposing views and freedom such as with the IRS Scandal during the Obama administration. This bureaucratic abuse is a real threat to the very liberty and justice our country was formed on and our Constitution was developed to protect. Jay Sekulow is a brilliant attorney that has argued in front of the Supreme Court and is Chief Counsel of the ACLJ. The ACLJ is a very important organization with the purpose of preserving the very Liberty and Justice that set America apart from the rest of the world.
Most importantly the final chapters offer some real solutions worth considering. The chapter with simple but powerful solutions for the holding the IRS accountable was right on target. This is a very important and timely book for all Americans that love Liberty! So as usual Hit The Books, They Don’t Hit Back!
