The Intimidation Game by Kimberley Strassel

The Intimidation Game by Kimberley Strassel from The Wall Street Journal is a very timely and important read. She covers in great detail how the progressives have used the many arms of government to silence free speech and destroy our 1st Amendment freedoms. There is a well demonstrated pattern of the hijack and use of government to destroy people exercising their right to free speech unless they fall in line with their accepted ideology.

The author dives into this administrations misuse of the IRS to silence their opposition. This was very hard to read since the details keep you in an ever increasing state of anger. She also goes way beyond the misuse of the IRS as a weapon to other ways the government power has been hijacked and used to silence free speech including the ever important Citizens United ruling which is often painted as a win for transparent government. This is of course opposite of the truth which the author illustrates in great detail.

If you care about our most important freedom protected by the 1st Amendment and are sick of the absolute corruption and tyranny destroying this great country, this is a must read! So as usual Hit The Books, They Don’t Hit Back!

  1. I love learning about American politics. I can get angry about them and feel like the Irish government isn’t as bad as everyone makes them out to be, haha.
