Sniper’s Honor by Stephen Hunter

Sniper’s Honor by Stephen Hunter

Sniper’s Honor by Stephen Hunter is another one of the Bob Lee Swagger stories. I don’t read much fiction but can never resist the Bob Lee Swagger stories that first hooked me with Stephen Hunter’s wonderful trilogy Point Of Impact (made into the movie Shooter staring Mark Wahlberg), Black Light, and Dirty White Boys.

Stephen Hunter is a bestselling author that quickly gained a loyal following in the gun community. He is personally an undisputed expert in firearms and firearm history and so all his fictional writing include lots of non-fiction expertise in this area instead of constant inaccuracies from other authors. His expertise is deep and recognized and you even will see Stephen regularly appearing on the Gun Stories show on the History channel show diving into firearm history.

For anyone this is a fun fictional read for enjoyment and escape from everyday reality and certainly one gun enthusiast will enjoy. If you have never read any of the Stephen Hunter novels and are interested I highly recommend starting with his wonderful trilogy that introduces the Bob Lee Swagger character. So as always Hit The Books, They Don’t Hit Back!
