Search & Destroy by Scott Cleland with Ira Brodsky

Search & Destroy by Scott Cleland with Ira Brodsky is an eye opening examination of Google even for those of you that are already quite savvy on the privacy, transparency, and integrity issues surrounding information in the digital age and this company in particular. Google has carved out an extremely dominate and powerful place of being the greatest possessor and controller of information in the world. With such, they have become extremely powerful even over governments. They tread close to, and even cross many lines of legality. They have enough power to make or break businesses and even greatly impact elections. This is a company that is in a position to be quite dangerous, even more so than government agencies that can abuse power such as the NSA.  I you use their products or are considering using their products you owe it yourself to understand who you are doing business with.  I for one will now avoid this company at all cost!  So as usual, Hit The Books, They Don’t Hit Back!
