Top Dog, The Science Of Winning And Losing by Po Bronson & Ashley Merryman

Top Dog, The Science Of Winning And Losing by Po Bronson & Ashley Merryman is an interesting overview of the more recent work done in studying and understanding competitive nature in all aspects of life. This is an easy to read book with lots of great examples in sports, business, and school including the top women’s college soccer coach Anson Dorrance all the way to women in the financial world on Wall Street.  A lot of this work includes much on gender differences in how the men and women compete differently. Certainly a worthwhile read for anyone interested in the topic.  Would be a great read for those inclined to think competition is bad and all kids should get a trophy just for showing up.  Might help them work out their psychosis!  So as usual……Hit The Books, They Don’t Hit Back!
